Changes meant to draw in crowds of women gamblers do not just affect the gambling areas but also the entire casino as well. In order to cater to the female experience of a total gambling experience, many casinos have expended and added large shopping centers, spas, and other female centered activities to meet this need.

Although many of the traditional show girls and boxing fight nights still occur in casinos, the presence of popular entertainment stars and Broadway orchestrated shows still pull a strong female dominated audience.

Many casinos are now endorsing a special casino vacation packages for women that include the whole tour of the strip plus the many activities that go with it. These are primarily designed for their female patrons and their families. It is hoped that these women would be return customers and bring other girl friends with them.

Casinos are recognizing the fact that women today are more financially independent and do not have to rely on their male counterparts all the time. Casino operators are learning to accept the fact that women gamblers bring more revenue than male gamblers.
